I have very old, heavy hitachi TV. It has S-video in. My laptop Dell Inspiron 1000 does not have s-video out. How do I connect laptop to TV? My laptop has RCA out. I looked for VGA – RCA component cable like this one – (http://www.amazon.com/Premium-Component-Cable-7-62m-Black/dp/B000QEDE76/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1196373800&sr=1-4)
But some reviews said it does not work for TVs [...]

Model is A105. I hooked up the cable to the TV and the Laptop and my tv searched for the signal but was unsuccessful.
I have a new Samsung 5 series 1080p.
