New Imac, Canon printer are working well with 2wire 071. The macbook, about 50 feet away and admittedly separated by some walls, connects at good level. Then in a couple of minutes the signal to the macbook weakens to almost nothing. Do I need some type of relay device or what?

The router I have is a decent netgear router that also has the “N” classification and my toshiba laptop probably just has a “G” adaptor built-in. But i’ve read reviews about the adaptors not really increasing the range that much… or are these people who have G routers and then buy N routers to increase [...]
