I’m looking for a good gaming laptop. My friends have Toshiba’s out the ying yang. And I really love Toshiba. But I just stumbled across the Gateway P series. I’m looking for a good mobile gaming Toppy. But I can’t choose. I’ve reviewed alot on youtube and Gateway can handle Crysis on High very well, but I’ve heard some distinct rumors that it over heats. Hmmm. And as for the Toshiba x205, I’ve had my eye on that little booger for a while. So it comes down to Gateway P series (FX) Quad core $1,799 http://www.gateway.com/systems/product/5… …..
(older, but sleek and fresh) Toshiba x205…$Kind of high end for all this SLi crap!!http://explore.toshiba.com/laptops/satel…
or The big bulky ToshibaX305 (Qosmio) $1,799 God this thing is ugly and flimsy. Just looking to crack and bend in the keys. http://explore.toshiba.com/laptops/qosmi…
So which is most likely going to have a longer life, not over heat, and have the best quality of gameplay, movies, and options? I’m sick of looking at them all. Help me!!!!!!!!

I was looking at laptops under $1500 with atleast 2ghz cpu, atleast 2gb ram, and good graphics for my photo work when I came across the Gateway M XL laptop. The specs look great: same as the micro express specs except gateway is a well known company while micro express is not. It looks sleek and sexy but I’m getting mixed reviews about its performance. I’m still very unsure about which laptop to get after 2 months of research. Photography is my hobby so I have also looked at Macs. I thought the Macbook pro was cool except for the price, and as for the standard $1,000 macbook I wasn’t impressed at all with its performance. Micro Express got the best score out of all laptops on PC World except it’s a smaller company so I want to learn more about them. Anyone out there who has the Micro Express IFL9025?

In the process of buying my first laptop and I’m caught between lenovo & HP. The cost of a Mac is out of the question for now and I won’t use my laptop for any graphic designing or media anyway. I’ve heard mixed reviews about lenovo concerning that they use to be good when IBM had complete ownership, but not they aren’t as good. I also have read issues about HP battery life and overheating. I basically need a laptop for overall use. Mainly for schoolwork on the run and minor Photo shop. I’m looking for a laptop between these two companies under 900. I was thinking about these laptops below:
Lenovo Idea Pad Y450 – 418934U
Intel® Core™ Duo T4200 ( 2GHz 800MHz 1MB )
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD
3 GB PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM 1066MHz
Hard Drive 160GB 5400
Intel Wireless Wi-Fi Link 5100
or
ThinkPad T400
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor P8600 (2.40GHz 1066MHz 3MBL2) 25W
ATI Mobility Radeon 3470 with 256MB
2 GB PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM 1067MHz SODIMM Memory (2 DIMM)
160 GB Hard Disk Drive, 5400rpm
ThinkPad WiFi (BGN)
4 cell Li-Ion Battery
or….
HP G60T
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo Processor T6400 (2.0GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB)
3GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm) from 1GB DDR2 System Memory (1 Dimm)
250GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive from 160GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD
HP Pavilion dv6t series
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo Processor T6400
4GB of Memory
320GB of Hard Drive
Wireless-G Card
I know some of the configurations are higher in the memory and hard drive space, but the difference isn’t a concern as build quality and if the laptop will crash on me a lot.
