I’ve just been thinking about getting macbook pro to replace my not so old pc laptop. I’m wondering if I should wait for the next update or just get the current macbook pro, 2 gb, 2.33 c2d?

I already know that a new aluminum design was made on october 2008, but I want to when the next revision will happen. In other words, I want to know when the next design of the apple macbook will be released.

I plan on using it for general purposes along with a couple of engineering software (HyperMesh, etc.). Also, I will be using it to watch movies, listen to music and occasionally play a few games. Basically a desktop replacement laptop.
