We have broadband at home on our pc, provided by eircom& a netopia modem. Since the wireless LAN light is lit up on the modem, I’m assuming this means wireless service is being provided-I’m just son’t have a clue on how I can set up my macbook to avail of it. Can anyone help?thanks

My PC does work and i’m using it fine…. I plug in the modem on the notebook and it recognises it but can’t access it… I’m using Time Warner Cable Internet..

The 2WIRE is Wi-Fi compatible & has wireless 802.11b networking. I just have no idea how to it. My Dell desktop 2400 is in my bedroom and the HP Pavillion 4455 is just in the other room.

I’m able to connect to the cable modem using my PC laptop, but my brand new MacBook will not. The MacBook recognizes the connection, but will not load a web page in either safari or firefox. Are there any tricks to hooking up a mac to comcast cable modems?

I have tried connecting via my bluetooth feature, entered in all the necessary details but it cannot recognise the modem. Is there something really basic that I’m forgetting.
