However, I also want to be able to use an ethernet connection when needed, and I just tried to do so, and it wont work.
It just wont connect when I plug it in to the macbook.

My room mate has a PC and was able to get online, but my mac will not connect. Is there anything I can reconfigure or do about this? Thank you.
