When I leave it alone for about two minutes, my MacBook’s display dims. I know it’s a power saving feature and it’s a good thing, but it annoys the living crap out of me when I watch movies and stuff.
So how do I keep it from doing that?

Here’s the deal: bought an HDTV: Toshiba 42HL67 (it’s 720p, not 1080p). Got a DVI-to-HDMI cable to get to the TV. I’ve tried every resolution which is selectable, and only 640×480 works. Does anyone [...]

I just got a 23″ monitor for my macbook pro, but I can’t figure out how to use my monitor as my primary screen. The closest I can get is using the “Mirror Displays”, but then I can’t use my monitor to it’s full resolution. Any ideas?
