why do people like the books Twilight, Harry Potter, Lord of The Rings, The Da Vinci Code, The Notebook, To Kill A Mockingbird, and A Series of Unfortunate Events? Like why are they best sellers why do people like them so much?

I loved reading HP, the Twilight series, etc. I also read romantic comedies like Jennifer Crusie and fantasy like Sara Douglass. When I was younger I loved the Chronicles of Narnia and anything by Lloyd Alexander. Can anyone suggest some other kinds of books I might like to read?

i was wondering if anyone knew where to purchase a black or brown messenger bag that would fit a laptop as well as a few books. the bags usage would be for school mainly.
