I save the picture to “my pictures” and when I try to access it, it won’t let me (Its gray, rather on a link you can click which is black) Do I need to save it somewhere else, or as something else maybe? I hope I explained it correctly. Thanks in advance!

Right click it and select “set as background”. It’s as simple as 1, 2, 3!
Make sure the photo is the right format, if it isn’t select a different one.
