i think i have a virus, a really old one that won’t go away. i don’t have a recovery disc and i believe my oldest restore point on my laptop is after the virus infected me. i had norton last year and webroot this year, but it still hasn’t made my computer clean. please help.

well, you have very limited choices but i would suggest downloading a trial version of mcafee or norton and scan and restart in that order about three times. since you cant just reinstall windows without the back ups and “webroot” isnt cutting it you might as well use a trial version of those anti virus programs to help you.
