I have an Ipod Nano. I previously used it with Itunes on Windows Xp, but that computer crashed and I have a new MacBook. I was wondering if it was possible to simply transfer songs from my Ipod to my Itunes library.
I researched some methods, but they said I need the older computer to reformat the ipod or something….it was a little vague
Any suggestions welcome, thank you in advance

Download this iPod-to-mac transfer program to see if it workshttp://gutensoft.com/Utilities/4Media-iP…
It was designed to help transfer all music, photos, videos, podcast, and TV shows on your iPod back to Mac completely and safely. Also, you can use it to transfer files from iPod to iTunes or from Mac to iPod in a direct way.
Best luck! For more iPod support information you can also go to http://www.apple.com/support/

I would recommend TouchCopy for Mac – you can copy all your songs, playlists, playcounts, artwork, and other song data from your iPod to your new iTunes library on your Mac. TouchCopy for Mac works with PC and Mac formatted iPods.http://www.wideanglesoftware.com/touchco…
