None of my teachers care (except my math teacher which I don’t need a ;laptop in her class). I have a case for it so at the end of every class it will be around my shoulder in the case surrounded by Styrofoam just in case. So do you think this is a good idea should I do this and since it has a web-cam my civics teacher said I could tape the lesson so I could review it. There is no chance it will get stolen because it will never leave my hands or case if I am not using it. And I can’t get on the internet because my school has a password. So for real should I do this?
Oh and btw I am 13 7th grade.

Laptops in my opinion are not really necessary when you’re in 7th grade, unless if you currently have a higher level of education like private schools. I think that it would be fine in my opinion because it would definately help you academically. But the problem is that teenagers like us(yes I am a teenager) are sneaky and cunning nowadays. I would recommend bringing a used laptop thats bought for a cheaper price than a super expensive high quality laptop. The reason is that the price for another laptop is easy to replace. So if you are prepared to pay for another laptop in case it gets lost or stolen, then go for it.

I wouldn’t. Laptops do cost money and if it does get broken, that’s wasting $5,000. In 7th grade the only times you might need to use a computer is in computer class but then you aren’t allowed to bring you’re own laptop. In my school you can email you’re teacher you’re homework and still get full credit but no one carries a laptop around.

i wouldn’t say its necessary in MIDDLE SCHOOL! its not like colleges are gonna look at your middle school grades.

lol no. Nothing that happens in middle school matters. Honestly you can flunk every middle school class there is, get good grades in high school and get into a great college. I’m in college right now and I don’t even bring my laptop haha.

Why would you need laptop in seventh grade? you dont need it for grades 1-9/10. its pointless. you dont need the thing. your teacher will either give you short notes to copy or handouts, what are you going to do use your webcam to take pictures of the handouts?

I wouldn’t. Kids are sneaky. Plus, it may still be broken. If other kids do it, then I guess it would be alright, but I don’t suggest it.

what the hell do u need a frickin lap top for. just work hard in school and u won’t need a laptop.

No, especially if you go to a public school.( will definitely get stolen) I use one, but I go to a Prep School so I actually need it.
