Hey guys,
i was just wondering on what you think about the looks of the new aluminum macbook. give me all your thoughts on just the LOOKS, i already know everything about the hardware.
do you think it is a stunning laptop, based on size, color, thinness, etc.
also while you’re at it, can you tell me when you think the next apple macbook will come out after the new aluminum one that just came out.

I really like them! I own a white macbook I purchased last summer, so I probably won’t get another for a few years, and by then they’ll be different. I was skeptical about the single button at first, but after using one, I actually like the idea. The screen is my only issue, as some people prefer a matte finish, and the glass can apparently cause excess glare. I haven’t personally observed this, but I imagine it would be frustrating. The keyboard is beautiful in black, and its nice to see the backlighting option moving to the macbook line. It seems like apple opts for internal renovations far more often than external, so I don’t think there will be another complete makeover like this until at least 2010- but I might be wrong. The next line? Thinner. Glare proof displays with very tiny margins. Perhaps one day they will be made completely from flat flexible components (logic boards and displays) set in a hard unibody enclosure, except the enclosure can bend under heavy pressure. This would maybe allow them to be waterproof? Just a shot in the dark.

Its pritty tight, to say the least..
to be honest it looked kinda wierd at first but grew on me
and then if you look at the engineering aspect of it, it is beautiful
for the next macbook it should come out next year third or four quarter, they’ve invented new chip set’s and they are beast’s faster and more earth green, but the new back will prob be more coustly because these chips will start at 2.8Ghz and go up to 3.4Ghz, there Blazing fast!
anyways id say if the back book was a geeky girl, id turn her into the school slut. =)

Honestly, I hate it. They make you pay more for that stupid aluminum case then plastic costs. And, it is really thick for some reason, and heavy. Apple failed on the aluminum concept, but then again, Apple fails at everything. As for the next one, it will be a while, since they have 13″,15″, and 17″ aluminum models. There is no next size.
