It’s really strange how not too long ago HP was a leader in camera sales, and now all of a sudden they are not sold anywhere and HP doesn’t even act like they ever made them.

I have a great HP camera and have talked with them recently. There is still support for HP cameras sold, but they just quit selling because of problems. Don’t know for sure, but think there was a battery problem they could not solve. My camera was purchased four years ago and have just now found the solution and written an article to spread the word. Check the source link to see my article.
All cameras that use NiMH batteries have the same problem with electrical contacts between the batteries and the camera. In fact even flashlight batteries have this problem. http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/cont… …
You can contact HP chat support at this link for more information. Their phone number is 888-999-4747. I just talked with HP and the man told me that cameras were just not profitable.

HP a leader in camera sales??? I think not. If you’re interested in buying a camera, buy one from a REAL camera maker (e.g. Canon, Nikon etc).
Oh, and the reason “HP doesn’t even act like they ever made them”…is probably because they are embarrassed.
