I lost the disks that came with my macbook and I have just sold it, so I need to wipe it and get it the way it was when I got it. Does anyone have any tips?

Call Apple and ask for the restore discs for your specific model. They will sell them to you for around $30.
This is especially good juju for you if you’ve already sold it to someone, seeing as they’ll probably have the same problem in the future should they want/need to restore the laptop. http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa…
